About Wineflair
Wineflair started life in 1970 with two off-licences, one in Carrickfergus, and one in Belfast. Over the next 30 years, the company had grown into one of the leading groups of independent off-licences in N.Ireland. We now have 34 licensed outlets spread across Belfast, Co. Down, Co. Antrim and Co. Armagh. Wineflair was taken over by it's now current owners in August 2000. Since then the company has gone through expansion and diversification, having moved into the convenience food sector. The new team has adopted the new concept of Wineflair / Mace stores, a convenience store with off sales, and in some cases a post office.
Over the last three years, we have added 16 convenience stores under the Mace banner (our food chain partner). Seven of which are licensed to sell alcohol, four incorporate a Post Office to cater for all our customer's needs. We have rationalised our range of wines, spirits and beers to reflect our customer's needs, and now import our own range of wines from France, Australia, California and South Africa so we can offer a more varied range at competitive prices. Having recognised the appeal of multi-shop offerings (and our loyal customer's suggestions) the management are actively seeking new sites throughout the country, so keep looking out for our new developments coming to a site near you.
