We’re pleased that three of our team will now be using their considerable retail technology experience and solution-generating skills in new roles. Zeb Carnell and Sophie Roberts are now Solution Architects and Sam Yu is now Data and Information Lead.

Zeb Carnell – Solution Architect

Zeb has been with Triquestra for more than 10 years. Before his new role, he was a support analyst, implementation consultant and business analyst. He’s always worked with retailers to help determine technology requirements and then implement and support their new software. Now as Solution Architect, he takes a more conceptual view.

“I work with business analysts to come up with solutions for the requirements they’ve gathered for a client. It’s my job to consider infrastructure and integrations, provide high-level recommendations and make sure everything’s done right,” Zeb says.

Zeb’s time with Triquestra has given him deep knowledge of retail’s fast-paced and data-intensive environments. “I’ve worked on projects across all verticals and of varying sizes. I know what’s available in Infinity and I know retail business, so I can talk to clients about options to address their problems or transform their customer experience. I like working from the start and seeing the final result,” he says.

“There’s always something to learn. That’s one of the reasons I like working at Triquestra. And now with our mature and proven Infinity platform, we’re focused on new technologies and opening up the architecture so we can help even more retailers achieve their business goals,” says Zeb.

Sophie Roberts – Solution Architect

Sophie started at Triquestra at the end of 2006. As Solution Architect, she’s responsible for designing enterprise software solutions and solving technical problems. She leads workshops with her clients to understand their business and technical requirements. Then she develops the high level ideas that make the most of Infinity’s capabilities.

She says, “I look at the situation, understand a clients environment and expose what Infinity can currently do. Then decide if we need new functionality or which APIs and integrations may be required. And I make sure that implementation, testing and training goes as seamlessly as possible so customers can easily get up and running with their platform.”

Sophie’s clients have included Cue Clothing, Fantastic Furniture, Goldpine, Landmark, Liquorland, Plush and Fonterra Farm Source. She’s working with the Z Energy team now on innovations such as Pumped and Sharetank.

“I enjoy my work and the team here at TQ. I also enjoy collaborating with our clients’ business and technical people and third party teams. I worked on Cue’s award winning click-and-collect and endless aisle initiatives which I’m pretty proud of. And I look forward to designing new products and services that bring our clients closer to their customers.”

Sam Yu – Data and Information Lead

Sam has been with Triquestra since 2015 and did consulting and business analysis before his promotion to Data and Information Lead.

In this newly created role, Sam is responsible for designing Salient CPM business intelligence cubes and dashboards that give clients insights they can use to optimise operations and improve customer experiences. Additionally, Sam takes the lead on updating and creating new Infinity API designs. He ensures that APIs, reporting and analytics are considered in all client projects.

“I’m happy to be working on the APIs and delivering them to clients. Infinity APIs make it much easier for clients to expose their customer and product information with Infinity. It’s a great architecture that they can use to talk to our platform, connect their various channels, integrate with third parties – whatever they like,” says Sam.

Sam’s projects have included work for Freedom Furniture, Z Energy, and the Infinity quotes and orders mobile app. He says, “The mobile app started from scratch and now is a good product that solves many client problems. In fact, Fonterra Farm Source is piloting it now. It’s a great example of APIs in action to connect information and serve customers faster.”
